UET Merit List 2025 | Formula To Calculate The Aggregate Marks
ECAT Entry Test have not any passing marks. It counts in the merit and admission is regulated as under:
ECAT Aggregate Percentage
- Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (H.S.S.C) Pre-Engineering. or equivalent. or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
- For fixed Seat Only: DAE Diploma of Associate Engineer or B. Tech (Pass). Pass)
UET ECAT Marks of Entry Test
ECAT by 2025 will be carried out as below:
- FSc = 70% marks
- ECAT = 30% marks
Merit Determination ECAT Test 2025
The Candidates for admission to the four year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognised by the Board as equivalent thereto.
H.S.C. (Pre Engineering):
- H.S.S.C (Pre-Engg.) or equivalent with 70% Sports and Hafiz-e-Quran marks
- Entry Test marks 30%
B.Sc. or B.A. Sc.:
- B.Sc. or B.A.Sc with Sports and 70% Hafiz-e-Quran marks or H.S.S.C(Pre-Engg.) or equivalent with Sports and Hafize Quraan marks

Diploma of Associate Engineer(for static seats only):
- DAE with 70% Sports & Hafiz-e-Quran Marks

Examination Passed By Parts
Where a candidate has qualified for an examination in parts, then ten (10) marks shall be deducted for that examination as a form of adjusted admission marks.
