We are pleased to inform you that the final lists of candidates shortlisted for the Physical Test for the positions of Forest Ranger and Forest Inspector have been published on the official website. Forest Ranger Physical Test Merit List 2026

🟢 Physical Fitness Standards

Discipline, endurance, and physical fitness are all part of the Forest Ranger recruitment. The Punjab Forest Department has released the physical test standards that can be checked below:

For Male Candidates:

  • Height: Minimum 5 ft 6 in
  • Chest: 32–34 inches
  • Running: 1600 meters in 7 minutes

For Female Candidates:

  • Height: Minimum 5 ft 2 in
  • Running: 1600 meters in 10 minutes

Minimum eyesight: 6/6 (with or without glasses) for all candidates.
